About Dan Spellman

I joined Oracle after founding and then leading a tech company for 20 years. My goal was to apply my life-long love for cutting edge technology and an entrepreneur's curiosity, patience and fortitude to be a change agent for something more meaningful. Like most families, mine has seen its fair share of health issues, including I have two children with a genetic health issue. With an unparalleled role in technology and healthcare, including a gen 2 cloud and over 10k HCLS customers (before acquiring Cerner for $28B), Oracle was a natural fit. In my initial role at Oracle, I led our engagement with executives of some of the most dynamic and innovative healthcare and life sciences organizations on the planet. In my latest role, I was asked by Oracle to lead the healthcare and life sciences vertical for our AI + OCI group. I could not be more excited about seeing the most transformational technology of our time having a positive impact on health and working alongside amazing partners, including our expanded alliance with AI industry leader NVIDIA.
