Maintenance Technician on EC-135 med-flight helicopters

Lead mechanic on all seven company UH-12ET helicopters. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs to Hiller UH-12, and Bell 206-series and 407 helicopters, maintaining both part 135 and part 91 aircraft. This includes extensive field work on Hiller UH-12s and Bell 206-series helicopters, working autonomously to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and complete all necessary paperwork for return to service. Works at the Summit repair station facility performing hourly inspections, annuals, ADs, troubleshooting systems, replacing and/or overhauling major components, as well as daily inspections and preparing for and recovering aircraft from flights. Proficient at performing dynamic track & balance procedures to rotor systems as well as driveline components, using Chadwick and RADS systems. Certified inspector for repair station. Inspector duties include interim and completion inspections for other mechanic’s work, closing discrepancies and work order packets, inspecting incoming and repairable parts, and generating 8130s for components for return to service.

- Performed various types of metal repairs and corrosion treatment on C-130 components such as flight control surfaces, landing gear doors, engine cowlings, cargo floor panels and rails, wing leading edges. - Inspected components, generated time/cost estimates, and performed necessary repairs I.A.W. structure repair manuals and blueprints.

- Worked extensively with composites, fabricating parts and assembling control and power cars for a prototype airship. - Assisted engineers in the fitting and testing of prototype components. - Fabricated parts using blueprints, engineering instructions, and drawings.

- Performed progressive and daily/post flight maintenance and inspections on AH-64D and UH-60 helicopters, maintaining aircraft in an airworthy condition. - Completed heavy maintenance and phase inspections on AH-64D helicopters. Maintained aircraft records and logbooks.

- Worked on AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters, both as a crew chief and intermediate level maintenance tech. - Performed major aircraft systems overhaul, including replacement of complete major systems including landing gear, transmissions, engines, rotor systems, and extensive hydraulic repairs, including performing full-system hydraulic bleed and services. - Honorably discharged September 2010.
