I am currently working within the UK & Ireland Strategic GSI/xSP team focusing purely on Brocades IP & Software Networking product sets. I am responsible for our Cloud & Managed Service Provider accounts managing existing customers as well as business development into these verticals.I have a clear understanding of the IT challenges faced within both of my sectors, and I am able to communicate at 'C' & Executive levels to help provide a sensible technical & commercial strategy to allow scalable and easy to manage growth. A key part of my role is also to discuss emerging technologies such as SDN & NFV and how these can be utilised to offer new products, improve optimisation of the network and increase agility of the day-to-day operation of the network.As part of the acquisition of the Switching, Routing & Analytics business unit by Extreme Networks my employment moved to Extreme Networks in October 2017.

This role was as Sales Manager of NetSumo, managing a small commercial sales & admin team. This role also involved dealing with new business & managing existing customer accounts as well as working with new leads from our partners. I was also responsibile for managing partner relationships and forming key alliances to build into the NetSumo product set and offerings. The company specialises in managed services as well as network consultancy, out sourced support services & remote hands data centre work. Vendors worked with, and solutions sold included Brocade, Juniper & Cisco IP product sets.
