In addition to typical work of a financial aid manager, I am tasked with marrying financial aid to Maharishi University of Management's (MUM) online programs being developed.I am also automating processes so, as the school grows, the systems will still work efficiently.

My first position at Career Point College was calling online leads to bring them in for a campus visit with an admissions counselor.Was then asked to pioneer financial aid for 100% online students - they hadn't been successful atthis yet. This involved making the financial aid process nearly paper-free. In the process also made the college application process paper-free. Trained my replacement.Then installed, set up and managed their lead management system (Leads360).My last position was as Internet Marketing Manager. In that position I wasresponsible for increasing lead flow while decreasing cost per enrollment for all Internet-sourced leads. Managed the complete internet presence and campaigns (our website, SEO, lead aggregators, social media, PPC and display campaigns). Hired and trained my replacement.

Product Engineer, WorldCom and MCI Account Team – Multi Service Data 1998 – 2001Ensured that telephony and data switching products have customer-required functionality to be successfully sold into MCI WorldCom. Tasks included working with the Sales Team as liaison between MCI WorldCom Engineers and Architects and the Nortel Design and Product Management Team. Projects included:• Assembled task force in Ottawa, Canada to respond to the management portion of prodigious customer MSS (MultiService Switch) RFP (Request for Proposal) and the ongoing deliberations on its implementation into the network. • Worked closely with the customer to understand billing requirements for their long distance switches to ensure a smooth transition for current billing platform to the next generation platform. Subsequently, all legacy WorldCom long distance switches were deployed with the next generation billing platform.Long-Distance and Cellular Switch Software Support Engineer 1992 – 1997Led a market region team that solved all post-release software issues reported by clients. Tasks included:• Provide 24-hour pager support for critical customer issues, acting as team prime for various market regions throughout the year, providing technical expertise to internal groups, and mentoring new team members. Had direct responsibility for improving problem resolution time within the region. • Re-tooled and taught a course on a machine-level debugging tool for high level technical personnel in several Nortel organizations. • Chosen to be a team leader after 18 months in position.• Discovered a powerful debugging tool used by a Nortel group in Australia. I promoted this tool within my group and others. This tool became a standard for use by similar support groups in Texas, increasing the overall efficiency of our problem-solving efforts.
