Cancer Analytics, Analytics and Informatics• Performs quality research, analysis, data quality analysis, interpretation, as well as reconciles clinical and financial information from public clinical databases (e.g. CIHI-DAD, CIHI-NACRS, and OHIP etc.) and CCO program-specific resources.• Established and built strong customer relationships with the Surgical Oncology Program and Regional programs at CCO; working closely and independently with the program managers and project leads while serving as an analytics adviser for defining and delivering actionable information towards multiple objectives including: the development and execution of patient quality treatment indicators and reporting solutions to support program’s business objectives, development of funding models and annual allocation and reconciliation of funding (e.g. Cancer Surgery Agreement).• Leads and supports initiatives or mini projects towards identified business needs for CCO's Cancer Analytics team, as well as development of documentation (Technical Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures).• Works with colleagues in informatics, clinical programs and external stakeholders responding to planned and ad-hoc requests to support their requirements and business objectives and providing information solutions.• Mentors and supports on boarding colleagues within the Cancer Analytics team.• Works with the business intelligence software development team to maintain and update automated reports for clinical programs.

Telehomecare, The Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN),Toronto, Ontario.• Conducts systematic literature surveys of Canadian and international Telehomecare Programs (remote patient monitoring, treatment and education programs), and maintains periodic literature updates.• Developed summary reports focused on clinical effectiveness of Telehomecare programs for chronic diseases.• Recommends key articles that will support physician engagement and adoption strategies.• Recommends content for OTN’s Telehomecare website.• Participated as SME for Telehomecare programs literature in working groups in collaboration with clinicians, OTN's Telehomecare managers and staff.

Ontario Cancer Institute, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, Toronto, Ontario.• Bioinformatics analyst and consultant. Conducted and advised on research and specific data analysis strategies of large high-throughput genomics data sets.• Conducted literature review to provide research background for a peer-reviewed manuscript and to direct research planning.• Wrote a research manuscript submitted to a peer-reviewed journal.

•Conducted bioinformatics analysis: Processing and data mining of large high-throughput genomics data sets to identify gene association with cancer biology and patient clinical attributes. Data manipulation, visualization and statistical analysis using parametric and non-parametric methods, data clustering, correlation and survival analysis, implemented in R statistical programming language.•Bioinformatics Consultant in a team of physicians, analysts, statisticians, bioinformaticians and students, dedicated to lung cancer translational research. Extracted and annotated data from biomedical literature into relational database and logged reports in MS Office Excel.• Analyzed biomolecular data using bioinformatics analysis software.

Laboratory of Dr. Janet Rossant.Performed independent and collaborative scientific research to characterize the genetic regulatory mechanism that controls initial cell lineage specification in the early mouse embryo, and potentially in other mammals. This study demonstrated the role of the transcription factors Cdx2 and Eomes in specifying the trophoblast, the extraembryonic cell lineage which gives rise to the placenta, and distinguish these cells from the embryo proper.
