Working on a Federal contract as a cleared senior developer to build web-based applications using ASP.NET Core MVC/C#. Currently leading a team of 3 developers on an application that is hosted in the government AWS cloud and integrates Okta authentication. Responsible for all technical aspects of the project including database design (Oracle), software architecture, and coding. Using Agile methodology and have implemented a CI/CD pipeline within our development environment using Jenkins and Powershell scripting.

Designed and developed several business-line and compliance-related applications using a combination of the following technology stack: SQL Server 2008/2012, EF 6.0, ASP.NET MVC, C#, jQuery/jQueryUI, Twitter Bootstrap, web services. In addition to pure software development, I interfaced with business leaders to analyze requirements and objectives, and translate these into tangible applications. Developed the Metadata Repository web application as part of the NIH National Children’s Study 20-year program. Web development architecture included ASP.NET MVC accessing SQL Server database. Technologies utilized include LINQ to SQL/LINQ to XML, ASP.NET C# web development, and XML-intensive pre-processing of data originating from Excel spreadsheets, then transformed into XML according the "DDI" specification, followed by normalization into SQL server relational database format. Other technologies used include jQuery, CSS, Ajax, Java/NetBeans. Was responsible for implementing "Provider Model" design pattern to enable run-time configuration of data access method (XML file versus SQL Server database). Additionally, heavy emphasis on 508-compliance was required throughout all development. Other duties include enhancing a legacy Microsoft Word document parsing application written in Java. Heavy use of XPath querying was involved in this task in order to parse out sections of documents.** Additional software development work experience available upon request **
