Dante Lattanzi is a sonic architect with a wide ranging and unique background. He is an active sound healer, TV/Film and Video game composer, producer, Grammy nominated songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, a true rare breed creator playing and being equally proficient on twelve organic instruments. Acoustic and electric guitars, upright and electric bass — even sitar. Add to the equation drums, world and Latin percussion, acoustic and electric keyboards, vocals and harmonica, and he’s a veritable one-man show. Dante was mentored on drums by the legendary swing jazz drummer Duffy Jackson from the Count Basie Orchestra, son of the legendary bassist Chubby Jackson as well as keyboard player for Afrika Bambaatta and Brass Construction Lee Evans. Dante cut his teeth as a teenage funk, punk and indie/rock drummer, sharing stages with bands like Green Day, Fishbone, The Pharcyde, Mana, Ashanti, Cafeta Cuba, Babyface, and Jane's Addiction.His clients include HBO, Crayola, Kraft, Lexus, Best Buy, The Knot, MTV, Bad Boy Records, Alligator Records, Adele’s drummer Derrick Wright, NY Fellowship Choir, Duffy Jackson, The Naked Cowboy, Shemekia Copeland, The Woods Brothers, Dr. John, Troy Ramey and Cáthia of NBC’s The Voice and dozens of up and coming notable talent.
