I'm a podcast performer who has performed characters and also created extensive fantasy lore. I've been the Dungeon Master for over 100 hours of original fantasy lore, as well as official Dungeons and Dragons content. Founded by comedian Brian Posehn and played in his dining room, Nerd Poker is one of the original D&D podcasts, of which there are now many.

I designed and taught a stand-up comedy curriculum at a beginner and advanced level for the Chicago, then Los Angeles Training Center. This curriculum was officially commissioned, adapted. and purchased to be used across all cities of operation as well as the online platform. My students have gone on to tour the world and have their own Netflix stand-up specials.

I was the storytelling writer and editor for tabletop roleplaying adventures using the Cortex system. My job required not only understanding gaming rules but absorbing intellectual properties and providing authentic representations of them. I have written a tabletop roleplaying adventure for Mattel's Masters of the Universe called Legends of Greyskull, and three tabletop roleplaying adventures for Netflix's The Dragon Prince called Tales of Xadia. In March 2022 I celebrated the release of my complete Tales of Xadia book, complete with characters, creatures, artifacts, dragons, and lore all written by me.

I was the writer of various content, humorous and otherwise, for dndbeyond.com (the official online component of Dungeons and Dragons) as well as a video personality. This means the point of my articles was to always be funny, but sometimes provide very real and usable Dungeons and Dragons content. I was Senior Editor of the magazine proper, the website, social media, and all other platforms of the MAD brand. This meant daily curation of written content that I also contributed to regularly as a writer. There were also special projects I headed, such as MAD's Twitch Channel (which I created and hosted) and "MAD About Swamp Thing" (a weekly web series I wrote for DC Comics, where comedians and writers joked about different issues of the comic book). From time to time I would travel participate in convention panels and other promotional appearance. In addition to the active publications, my position involved the research of archived material for book collections.

I ran the social media channels for Talking Dead on AMC, as well as Talking Preacher, Talking Saul, and Talking with Chris Hardwick. At this time Talking Dead was one of the highest rated shows on television.

The show was the winner of two Emmys for Outstanding Interactive Content, which I contributed to directly on a weekly basis. I also appeared on the show as comedian panelist, created digital videos and social media writing, and even wrote in-show segments and comedy material. I managed all social media accounts, the Twitter account going from zero followers to over half a million followers at the end of the show’s run. I also curated Hashtag Wars, a Twitter game that trended #1 Worldwide almost every single night.

I was co-writer of web series “The Onion’s Completely Accurate History of The Internet." I wrote non-branded commercial scripts for clients such as Corona, Orbitz, and Dove. I served as Managing Editor of Onion Labs, an advertising integration department, overseeing a team of contributing writers.I hosted a web series for The Onion's pop culture sister site, The A.V. Club, called "Pop Pilgrims".I am still sometimes active as a contributing writer for both The Onion and The A.V. Club.

I created a Tech Training program for real estate agents and staff, and wrote handbooks laid out in Adobe InDesign. The training program highlighted topics such as computer protection, smartphone contacts, and Microsoft Office Suite. Created technology policy leaflets in Microsoft Publisher. Wrote profiles for new staff and agents, updated tech blog on company intranet. In addition to the training, I provided desktop for Windows and Mac computers, and mobile support for iPhones, Blackberrys, Palm products, and Windows Mobile devices.

I was a staff member at the Chicago Library System, where I wrote the Continuing Education course packet each month, organized the schedule of the office, and did other administrative duties under the Continuing Education Director Kathryn Deiss. The Chicago Library System was later renamed the Chicago Multitype Library System, which then merged into RAILS after I left.
