Hello! I'm Dante Rivera and I am a senior at the University of Houston, graduating in December 2024. I am majoring in Media Production and I am minoring in Marketing. I enjoy learning about Media Production and Marketing because it allows me to combine my passion for engaging with people of different backgrounds while also allowing me to express my creativity through generating content that helps brands reach their audience. Throughout my time that I've attended the University of Houston, I've cultivated experience through my internship with the University of Houston's Athletics Program as a broadcast intern, the UH Recreation Marketing Department as a videographer/photographer, and with CoogTv as a Headwriter and videographer. From my job with the Rec, I was able to grow my skills in videography, photography, Adobe Premier Pro, Canva and working with social media post analytics and optimization. Being a head writer at CoogTv gave me experience with spearheading content creation and learning to manage a team of people. Through my current internship with UH Athletics, I have been able to enhance my camera operation skills and learn the basics of live show production. I've also been able to capitalize on skills such as time management, problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork. I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in social media marketing and broadcast production in the greater Houston area.
