I've worked as a lead developer on several projects with Partywipe including: A Mobile MMO: scalable server architecture in java, running on linux, mysql database, and communication via sockets over ssl. Front end running on C# via Unity. Players characters are located where the mobile device is detected in the real world with several server-side cheating detection systems. All game logic and input validation is done on the server. The game is essentially a mix of Dungeons and Dragons and Pokemon Go. This project ended in 2018 while in an invite-only beta on the Google Play Store.A Real time RTS in Unity primarily targeted at PC. Systems implemented by me: Inverse kinematics, animation, economy simulation, procedural building construction, realistic ballistic penetration simulation(Probably the most realistic of any modern game), level of detail system, procedural terrain generation system, navmesh generation, AI decision making, and user interface.A PHP based MMO that we created for a convention, ran on an apache server with a mysql backend. It was my first PHP project and was very enjoyable, which spurred the development of our Unity MMO.Several small Aerospace Engineering, climate change, and economy simulations.
