Jabil Circuit (JBL) is $12 billion dollar Electronics, Design, Manufacturing and Services Company. After internal efforts failed, was hired to create a globally competitive mechanical / enclosure solution to enhance Jabil’s world class electronics’ business. This involved leading a ground up business effort, including supply chain formation, operations expansion, human development, sales and marketing. Since the global roll out of this entity, have managed all international activities related to this initiative. Geographies include Western and Eastern Europe, the Americas, Asia and India.

Overall P&L responsibility of a $35MM Electronic Manaufacturing Services company. Included leadership of the business development function, engineering and operations.

Complete P&L responsibility for this LBO acquisition, managed all aspects of this flexible packaging business. Employed a turn-around strategy focused on reducing the cost basis through employee training in lean manufacturing techniques and greater supplier involvement. Reduced cost of goods 20%, increased overall productivity, boosted sales and service and on-time delivery (99%). Quality continued to improve based upon installation of documented and standardized specifications and test methods (60% decrease in claims as a percentage of sales year-to-year). Performed a rationalization analysis that led to closing one of the three manufacturing sites, thereby reducing overhead costs by better utilization of available capacity. Changed operations and plant leadership, rebuilding from the production floor up. Overall, EBITDA improved over 50% during my leadership.
