• Leads a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver analytics and intelligent automation projects across verticals - US Healthcare - Payer and Provider; BFSI; CPG and Telecom.• Works on complex modelling scenarios to build Machine Learning (ML) and Statistical Models using Python. • Engaged in the Data Science program, to work on real-world applications of data science principles involving Statistics & Probability, Linear Algebra, Machine Learning in Python, Neural Networks, Time-Spatial Series, Natural Language Processing and Sentiment Analysis. • Acquired, cleaned, and explored large data-sets using Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Tableau, Git/GitHub, Data Mining to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Initiatives – Predicting the Best Thai Dishes in San Francisco using Sentiment Analysis • Using Yelp, web scrapped the ratings and reviews of all the Thai restaurants in SF using Scapy and Beautiful Soup • Investigated correlation between rating and review sentiment and built a classifier (Multinomial NB) to predict ratings after NLP on reviews. • Feature Engineered menu-item tokens to perform sentiment analysis on reviews to recommend top dishes in each restaurant and the city. Big Cat Classification using Neural Networks • Trained a 6-layer Convolutional Neural Network based image classifier which accurately classifies a big cat using Keras and TensorFlow. • Accuracy was improved when the model was trained through image augmentation and was hence adjusted for over-fitting and false positives. Other Projects- • Web API Scraping and Classification - Using Reddit's API, web scrapped posts from a two subreddits and then used NLP to train a classifier (Multinomial NB, SVM) on which subreddit a given post came from. • Python Application for Label Detection - Created a python flask application that allows users to upload an image, makes an API call to Google Vision API and extract labels (i.e., do "Label Detection") and Image Classification and show results from Vision API on the UI.

• Built Machine Learning Models in Python for risk and pricing of portfolios using Linear Regression (Lasso, Ridge) and Ensemble Modelling (Random Forests and Gradient Boosting), improved baseline pricing by 18%. Performed cross-validation / grid searching for hyper parameters along with feature engineering continuously optimizing between variance (over-fit) and bias (under-fit). • Collaborated with senior management and stakeholders across cross functional business teams to define, implement, create, and maintain reporting requirements of key data metrics of the business domain involving subprime auto loans and in house call center collections in Tableau and SSRS. • Administered the SQL Server Database by continuously monitoring and optimizing the MS SQL server, back-end SQL code and SQL queries. Used ETL tools like SSIS for data cleansing. • Used Statistical and Predictive Analysis tools like Alteryx for risk and pricing of portfolios. Performed A/B tests on data sources to predict outcomes to drive business decisions. • Organize, configure and support the IT infrastructure and Cisco Computer Network at the site. Optimize, troubleshoot and secure the infrastructure to keep the data and voice network up to date. Perform penetration tests to evaluate network security. Working knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V for server deployment. Knowledge of Active Directory for user management and authentication.
