I am a qualified civil engineer with ten years experience spanning the structural and geotechnical design of underground road, rail, hydro-electric and desalination schemes. I have a further 5 years experience assessing the risk to and structural integrity of utility pipelines, syphons and underpasses.I use both structural and geotechnical numerical modelling programs such as Phase2 and Strand7 in 2D and 3D. I am actively involved in the development of design techniques in accordance with Australian Standards, British Standards and Eurocodes.
