I am pursuing a combined Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Biophysical Chemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno. My academic path has been enriched by professional experiences in various university departments, including the Residential Hall Association, Honors College, and the Gifted and Talented High School Program, where I’ve honed leadership, communication, and organizational skills.With a strong focus on research-driven medicine, I have gained laboratory experience working with PD-L1 protein inhibitors, which has deepened my understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind diseases such as cancer. In addition, my role as an orthopedic technician provides hands-on patient care experience, enhancing my ability to integrate scientific research with clinical practice.I am dedicated to advancing medical science, particularly in developing innovative treatments that mitigate patient suffering and improve the quality of life for those affected by serious illnesses.
