As a team, we work on everything "Marketing" for IDS including the GUI for their custom Mobile App and WWW App. My role as a contractor has been to support the efforts of UX/UI design, Generate promotional videos, retouch photography, create specific web landing pages, and all with the family at IDS. ♦ Designed and implemented entirely new catalog (over 300 pages now) converting Quark to In-Design and creating many dynamic elements, as well as a new "Digital" catalog completely driven from .XLS data that is accessible to Product Managers for updates♦ Saved the company approximately $50K/year by creating advertising videos in-house for Transition and two sister companies owned by CSI♦ Created an entirely new medium in 3-D Design for detailed application illustrations helping sales communicate how the product will fit into a client's needs♦ Took on the role of the webmaster in 2013 on top of primary duties.♦ Photographed all products and completed post-production photo retouching. Synthesizing product"yet to exist" all the way to creating family photos with many reflective surfaces using advancedphotography techniques. The PBS television show "Hometime with Dean Johnson" was the original DIY TV show and was one of the longest running shows in PBS history.♦ Worked directly with Google as a beta tester and developer for their new "AdSense for Video" on a website yielding 250,000 unique visitors a month.♦ More than doubled website's profits by redesigning entire site to accommodate up to 6 simultaneous monetizing campaigns♦ Brought 21 years of footage to the web in relevant "How-To" videos to serve users and sell advertising♦ Worked closely with Google as test subject in developing their new "AdSense For Video" product♦ Customized a Flash video player to allow full functionality with no restrictions♦ UX/UI Process used for new site technologies♦ Became expert SEO engineer/designer using webmaster tools, XML sitemaps, and analytics data that resulted in Quantcast.com rating the site as one of the top 9,500 sites in the world with at least 200K unique visitors per month. Beyond digital proofing and desktop publishing, our company specialized in Digital Retouching on a high level of difficulty. ♦ Worked directly with the company owner to conceptualize and implement their web site using Flash mixed with HTML so that meta tags could be validated against true content for Google♦ Performed desktop publishing and retouching as their Adobe In-Design-CS specialist♦ Used a Dupont Digital Proofer B-2 to perform color correction and imagery correction for large scale print jobs, including work for Volkswagen, Agip and Autoscout, creating precise digital proofs
