Provide consulting support in a variety of DSM related services. For the past year, the majority of my consulting has been as a Senior Consultant for Charles River Associate's (www.crai.com) in variety of projects as an SME in DSM analysis and program design.

Led the dvelopment, start-up and oversight of a number of C/I programs on behalf of energy utilities in the mid-west, northeast and southeast. This has involved the start-up of a number of program offices for programs with $multi-million budgets and aggressive goals. Provided a variety of consulting services in such areas as energy efficiency program planning, technical reviews and other services to support a growing business line.

Director – Energy ServicesDirecting a staff of 45 professionals, Mr. Waintroob was responsible for a full range of products and services provided on behalf of energy utilities; State agencies; ESCOs; and other organizations seeking to provide energy efficiency services to their customers. Key services provided include: OPUS – Optimal Power Use Service – an award winning service that delivers results by providing integrated efficiency services for commercial customers; program design and implementation for energy efficiency, demand reduction and load management; MIS systems, data mining, product distributions and installations; and strategic planning and analysis.

Provided solutions in information management and strategic planning to the energy management industry.Created a tactical implementation and marketing plan for power marketing software for a subsidiary of a major electric utility. Wrote a 5-year strategic information systems plan for SENELEC, an electric utility in West Africa. The plan was completed in less than 16 weeks, including the real time translation of the documents into French. The utility is now implementing the plan.Developed a marketing plan for a firm that specializes in database marketing solutions for utilities.Led an assessment of information technology options for the Electric Power Reform Committee of the Government of Ghana. The focus was on the needs of the distribution utilities that were being restructured.Assisted a Canadian company in introducing an innovative multimedia (CD-ROM) training program into the U.S. market.

Directed a $10 million operation with 45 professionals providing services for energy utilities throughout the U.S. Led the customization of the company's products and the management of the projects, which enabled Hydro-Québec to provide services for 1.5 million customers in an 18-month period.Led the design of an enhanced call center management tool, for a New York utility. Implemented a rapid response profitability assessment methodology to ensure that actions were taken quickly to help restore the company's profit in the following year.Managed all aspects of the company's software product line including marketing, R&D investments, pricing strategies and the sales of related services. Established dominant market share including selling energy audit services to all seven of the New York electric utilities. Sold over $30 million in services and license fees. Introduced several new products and services to triple revenues in five years.

A key player in the start up of an $8 million program to provide energy audits throughout Massachusetts. Mr. Waintroob provided an implementation plan that was certified by the State. The implemented program was directed at landlords. This included market research, product design, direct sales, public relations, and regulatory compliance.

Nationally recognized for a number of innovative projects. He managed a budget of $2 million with a staff of 50. Among these projects were the leveraging of Community Development Funds with bank loan funds and also helping the New England Congressional Caucus develop a consensus energy plan for New England as a delegate on the Supply Committee of the New England Energy Congress.
