Assists the County Administrator in the general management of County government by serving as liaison between the County Administrator and all departments and elected offices. Assists with the overall leadership, development, implementation and accomplishment of short and long range plans and policies related to Customer Service, Employee Engagement, Process Improvement and Financial Stability. Responsible for providing information, advice, and counsel to the County Administrator in the creation of policies, programs, and strategic direction of the organization. Assists with the administration of overall operation of the organization, including: reviewing and evaluating the results of program activities, ensuring that continuing contractual obligations are being fulfilled; allocating resources for greater program effectiveness and efficiency. Receives, investigates, and resolves complaints/concerns from Citizens and other stakeholders.

Manage operations for public transit in Allegan County. Responsible for all grant writing, budget preperation, procument, State and Federal reporting.

Assisted the Emergency Management Director with back-up and support. Participated in both Nuclear Disaster drills and other local emergency drills.

Provided support to the Human Resource Department and the Finance Department.
