• Oversee daily operations of cargo marine terminal, including receiving and delivery of containers and automobiles, daily container barge service and loading and discharge of roll on / roll off cargo.• Management of forty employees in diverse roles including longshoremen, checkers, and mechanics, represented by three labor unions.• Hiring Agent responsible for staffing of daily labor needs, as licensed by the NY/NJ Waterfront Commission.• Responsible for maintaining and implementing the Coast Guard Regulated Facility Security Plan, including working with the Port Authority OEM and Homeland Security to plan and execute successful full-scale exercise, consisting of mock container ship terrorist attack at terminal. • Project team member for opening of additional terminals in Freeport, Texas and Baltimore, Maryland. Responsible for developing operating procedures and best practices, and ensuring that the local staff on site are trained and prepared.• Works closely with IT to ensure technology needs are being addressed and helped to develop new technology for Newark, Freeport, and Baltimore operations.

Pnc Bank Arts Center

- Manage facility safety and security plan in accordance with tour and venue management requirements for 17,000 seat amphitheater- Directly responsible for artist and attending VIP safety and security at approximately 85 events annually- Interview and hiring of security staff- Coordinate travel for security staff for outside events- Supervision of staff during events ensuring that all venue and tour requirements and safety standards are being met- Reporting and investigation of any incidents and taking corrective action as needed- Coordinate with union labor to ensure safe working environment - Schedule security staff in adherence with venue and tour requirements- Develop and implement training program for both new and seasoned staff members- Liaise with State Police for additional security needs

- Manage cargo receiving process in ports of Newark, NJ, Bayonne, NJ, Providence, RI, and Halifax, NS, Canada- Interface with customers regarding disposition of cargo- Coordinate cargo receiving with local union labor- Responsible for adhering to all US Customs and Border Protection documentation requirements- Manage and report on cargo inventory for vessel operations- Audit cargo load list upon vessel departure and reporting any discrepancies- Coordination of accurate cargo specifications with surveyor- Supervise cargo data entry by local union labor- Manage and audit union labor cargo receiving procedures to ensure efficiency
