Municipality funded Pops Orchestra in Ocean City, NJ. We perform each summer in an air conditioned concert hall with glass walls looking out from the pier into the ocean. Life is good :)

Formed in 2013, Universal Brass Ensemble consists of members Tom Boulton (trumpet), Dan Wions (horn), and Yevgeny Morozov(piano). The name “Universal" was carefully chosen and has multiple meanings. It is well-accepted that music is the universal language. Not only does Universal Brass Ensemble strive to be universal in presenting that language through exciting and engaging performances that cover a wide variety of genres, composers, and time periods, but they also consider the core instrumentation of trumpet, horn, and piano as a universal and adaptable unit readily capable of collaborating with other instrumentalists. This malleability allows them to innovate and transform into a familiar yet original sound. Programs range in music from popular and chamber settings to full scale orchestral works. In addition to their mission as performers, they also highly value the educational aspect of music and how it has the power to enrich lives and communities. Universal Brass Ensemble presents performances and master classes at universities along with demonstrations and clinics at schools where they enjoy working with students of all ages.

- Present clinics on nutrition, embouchure analysis, posture, breathing, building teamwork in an orchestra section- Have presented at Central Arkansas, Kutztown, Rutgers, and Eastern Michigan Universities- Maintain an active performing and teaching schedule in the NY/NJ/PA area, with national and international tours several times per year.- Requires excellent time management skills, ability to lead and act as a team member, ability to problem solve and analyze

• Seek out talented musicians and assist them in improving their marketing and customer service.• Cultivate and maintain relationships with patrons and act as a liaison• Supply resource network for musicians – web designers, recording studios, business coaches, etc…

Touring Chamber Ensemble consisting of Trumpet, Horn, and Piano.Responsible for operating as a team to rehearse, perform, promote, organize tours, clinics, and compose, arrange, commission, and record new music for our ensemble.

Coach musicians on leadership, communication, and performance practice in a small ensemble setting.

- Participated in orchestral performances, international tours, educational outreach programs, and recordings on the Sony Classical label. - Performed in both a leadership capacity and as a member of a team within a touring orchestra
