Since I was a young boy, I have had a dream of becoming a pilot. In my Junior year of High School, I was given an introductory flight as a gift at a local FBO. It confirmed for me what I wanted to do in my life. There was something peaceful about being up in the air, almost like if you were taking a walk out in nature. And I loved it.This passion carried me to pursue a degree in Commercial Aviation at the University of North Dakota (UND). I learned quickly that there was a little more to flying than than just being up in the air. Despite that, I was able to balance school, work, and life. During my education at UND, I worked part-time in the customer service industry as a barista. This allowed me to develop strong communication and customer service skills as I assisted clientele. As I approach the end of my education at UND, I look back and appreciate all of the challenges and opportunities that the last 4-years have provided me.I am excited to teach the upcoming classes of students as a Flight Instructor at UND and share my excitement and passion about my love for flying.
