Superhero Circus Academy is home of the Acro and Social Justice Teacher Training.

I teach acrobatic workshops and intensives for hobbyist acrobats and ongoing education for teachers. I have taught most of the major festivals throughout the US and Canada and in more than 100 cities, multiple states and provinces in 6 countries. We offer 3 hour, 15 hour, 5 Day, and 7 Day intensives. This has taken a great deal of entrepreneurial spirit that includes designing curriculum and customising it to the needs of each group that we teach. We create a safe and positive environment for adults to connect, while modelling healthy communication and the art of co-creation and balanced gender dynamics. My responsibilities have included but are not limited to: content creation, small and large group facilitation, private instruction, publicity, promotion and marketing, social media management, website design and maintenance, negotiating fees, finding and booking events and venues, creating travel schedules, and managing finances.

I travel around the world teaching Acro (AcroYoga, Partner Acrobatics) classes, workshops, weekends and intensives. It's awesome!

I have taken four NLP communications and coaching courses over the years. The first three were with Advanced Human Technologies in 2008: Coaching Training - NLP Practitioners - 7 Days, March 2008; ·Coaching Training - NLP Master Practitioner - 10 Days, August 2008; Coaching Training - NLP Life Coach - 6 Days, September 2008. The last course was a 10 Month long - NLP Master Practitioner in Modelling and Intuition in 2011 with The Cutting Edge Institute of NLP and Neurosemantics. I have worked informally as a life coach, however I mostly use my coaching education in inform my own life and my relationships. The many models that I have learned about also inform my work as a teacher and facilitator.

PROJECT: South Africanising Peggy McIntosh’s White Privilege ListI initiated and led this project, my responsibilities included: project design, budget creation, focus groups, interviews, survey design, report writing and final educational tool. PROJECT: What We Knew - with WiCDS (Wits Centre for Diversity Studies)The project asked white South Africans who remembered the time of apartheid, and who were prepared to speak truthfully about how they were involved in the system of white privilege, to share their recollections and implications. The goal was to speak back to the denialism that is so prevalent.Conducting focus groups, interviews, data reflections and project design input.

Diversity Literacy Course Monitoring and Evaluation (UCT - University of Cape Town)Responsibilities: Focus groups, interviews, transcription, data capturing and analysis. Report writing including collation of data and recommendations.

Organisation co-founded with fellow UCT students, dedicated to creating spaces to promote deep dialogue with the goal of contributing towards racial justice in South Africa.
