Currently serving as a strategic advisor and communications specialist at NSW Treasury, I leverage my extensive experience in law, communications, and government to contribute to meaningful policy reforms and decision-making processes. My journey began with earning dual degrees in Arts and Law from the Australian National University, which laid the foundation for a career characterised by diverse roles within the legal sector and NSW Government. As a Manager of Online Correspondence and Engagement within the NSW Treasury’s Communications Team, I've cultivated a profound understanding of Treasury processes, stakeholder dynamics, and the intricacies of government policy. This role has sharpened my skills in managing sensitive political issues impartially and communicating complex reforms effectively. I pride myself on my ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, demonstrated through successful project management, including the publication of Treasury's Bicentenary book of essays and strategic communications for significant budget announcements. My background in legal research and advisory roles, particularly concerning gender-based violence and domestic policy, has provided me with a strong analytical framework essential for assessing the gendered impacts of NSW Government policies. As a lifelong learner, I am continuously seeking to expand my knowledge and skills, evidenced by completing the Australian Institute of Management's Project Management Leadership course. This commitment to professional development, combined with my collaborative approach and strategic thinking, enables me to drive initiatives that significantly impact public policy and economic reform.
