• Purchased raw material and critical components used to produce the Horizon DOAS units (custom made-to-order HVAC units used mainly for commercial buildings); the largest revenue-producing product on the manufacturing side of the KCC Companies’ organization.• Managed 10 critical commodity accounts totaling in $9 million annual spend.• Rewarded with managing the raw sheet metal providers which totaled as the largest portion of the Purchasing spend with over $10 million annually.• Organized site visits, meetings, and conferences where contracts and agreements were established as well as increasing opportunities for leisure in order to build and maintain relationships with our sales managers. This initiative helped our procurement team to cut unnecessary shelf time of products, thus driving down inventory numbers. • Launched company-wide projects aimed to revise all formats of parts within the system in order to facilitate engineering design processes and correctly set up pricing.• Collaborated with engineering to coordinate the sourcing and changeover of vendors in order to maintain the quality of our product while simultaneously increasing our production rates due to rapidly growing demands.

• Led a four-man team of electrical technicians responsible for wiring the units on the largest production line of the Horizon DOAS units.• Successfully navigated the introduction of the OAG Horizon base unit type through the post-prototyping phase of product development to full-scale line production. This new unit became the largest selling unit type by the year 2016.• Introduced sub-assembly processes in which free time was used to pre-assemble parts that were later added to the units further improving time management and ultimately leading to a higher volume output.

• Managed the wiring of transformers and the assembly of two primary fans both of which were later added to the units.• Served as the primary back-up to the electrical panel assembly manager opening up the opportunity to become familiarized with the wiring process of the units.
