From Dock Worker to Leading the Way in TransportationDriven by a lifelong passion for transportation, I embarked on a dynamic journey that encapsulates the very essence of the industry. Armed with a McGill diploma and an unyielding thirst for knowledge—currently pursuing my Six Sigma Green Belt—I've continually evolved to meet the ever-changing landscape of logistics.My odyssey began amidst loading docks, optimizing space while loading furniture into vans. The call of the open road led me to obtain my CDL, traversing North America, and embracing challenges like Ice Road trucking in the Northwest Territory.Transitioning to an office role after embracing parenthood, I navigated through diverse positions, eventually landing as a flight dispatcher. Yet, my heart always remained in trucking, leading me to venture into entrepreneurship. I founded and successfully managed a specialized flatbed and intermodal transportation company, a chapter I closed in 2014.For nearly six years now, I've proudly contributed my expertise to C.H. Robinson. Here, I've found a passion for our products and a commitment to serving our customers and carrier partners alike.
