Designed and deployed a modular application to automate the validation of microcode for avariety of production printing systems. Code primarily written in Java.

• Engineer real-time solutions for the next-generation robotics “transporter” (Specific HW that moves cartridges around). C++ code was very low-level, running in a proprietary RTOS and mostly interacting directly with.
• Developed drivers to handle frame-level CAN and I2C communication (Tx and Rx).
• Designed, implemented and verified a full XML parser.
• Implemented PID control code to synchronize the motions of 8 different actuators.
• Demonstrated advanced (DSP) filtering techniques of IR sensor data, which dramatically improved the accuracy and robustness of the operations.
• Maintained a full suite of regression and cycle tests, to facilitate iterative development cycles and accelerated cycle testing.- Member of the small team tasked with original embedded robotics control of the T-Finity.

- Ran test plans and verified resolved defects against all varieties of Spectra Logic tape libraries and storage servers.
