My Front of House Assistant roles involved working with the Front of House Team on performance nights at the theatre. My role includes taking tickets, assisting patrons with seating within the venue, invigilating performances, assisting patrons with enquiries, cash handling, selling programmes and merchandise and providing customer service. I have also worked with performers on shows.I have also assisted as a Gallery assistant where I invigilate in the gallery, take records of the cases, record the number of visitors and opening and locking of the gallery.

This position involved giving prospective students and parents guided tours of the University. Whilst conducting the tours, I was expected to show the highest level of professionalism and to be able to answer any questions regarding the University and University life. I have also been involved in making professional videos for the University to explain the teaching and student life which are available on their website.

The internship provided the opportunity for me to develop my molecular techniques and general laboratory protocol standard. During this time, I acquired an understanding in conducting immunostaining on wax and cryo slide sections, real-time PCR and standard PCR, mice genotyping, western blots, dissection and fluorescent microscopy imaging.
