On this field, I support bird conservation by coordinating projects based on ecotourism, green infrastructure and public awareness. This helps me to maintain my link with biodiversity and nature. I also write and edit content, specially related to biodiversity for massive audiences, organizations and brands to expand science knowledge and bird conservation.

Design of marketing and communications strategies for Latin America region, focusing primarily in Spanish-speaking public, local governments and national and corporate relationships in order to strengthen the reputation of the organization and increasing visibility among stakeholders. Responsible for marketing and media strategies in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Chile.

I am responsible for marketing strategies to promote The Nature Conservancy's identity and brand across selected audiences in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama and Costa Rica. I created specific marketing plans for all these countries attending different needs and political and social context. I also manage the relationships with national media, attend journalists and develop PR alliances to promote TNC's mission across the region.

Main point of contact for all informational needs related to the Northern Tropical Andes Conservation Program based in Cartagena, Colombia. Support the information needs of the divisional Marketing & Philanthropy team located in the United States. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quality information in English to be used in reports, proposals, presentations, publications, correspondence and a wide variety of marketing materials.

I was responsible for creation, coordination and implementation of a communication strategy that included 1. Internet-based solutions (including concept, design and implementation of more than 25 websites related to biodiversity research and conservation); 2. editor in technical and biology-based articles and more than 15 scientific publications about biodiversity inventories, conservation, sustainable use and environmental policy; 3. promotion of environmental education and public awareness by a USD300,000 project granted by MacArthur Foundation; 4. Development of a documentation and library resources center with more than 10,000 titles and 5. Coordination of photo and video archives. I was also responsible for the communication implementation plan of the USD15M project about Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity in the Andean Region of Colombia financed by Global Environmental Fund, World Bank and Netherlands Embassy in Colombia.

Implementation of the Clearing-House Mechanism of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the National Directory of Biodiversity Research (which includes more than 5,000 Colombian researchers and organizations).
