"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!"- Malcolm XMy name is Daoud (David) Ajeen and I live by this Malcolm X quote everyday because represents they type of person I am and at the same time reminds me not to lose sight of what I believe in. I am current junior at the University of Toledo studying exercise science. I was born in Monroe, MI but moved to Wilmington, NC at the age of three where I lived until I graduated high school in 2015. I am the son of Palestinian immigrants who moved to the states in 1985. My parents came from nothing to even less when they came to the states and still managed to raise a family of three. I take value in education because I appreciate how hard they worked for me and I want to work hard to be able to repay their hard work. I have a passion to become a physician (either a trauma surgeon or an ER attending) and I take my goals very seriously because I want to prove that I can be the first in my family to make something of myself and finish my education. My goals are my "something to stand for" so I don't fall for anything.
