As China Merchant’s Bank is a new establishment, I was engaged as the only T24 personnel. My task includes SIT and UAT coordination and management of testers and test cases, implementation, support, COBs, POC with Temenos.After Test phase, we went LIVE in September 2013, I was the person who did the Go-Live implementation and Coordination. This includes organizing User inputs for LINEs, Rates, Parameter setting and etc.After Go-Live, I am now supporting Technical and Functional issues by undertaking these issues to Temenos Customer Support Portal and such. Also, I am currently writing up the Policies for all the T24 aspects like Security Management, Operational Manuals, Menu structuring, Build Controls and etc.

Being part of a project team and based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, we were tasked to handle a Greenfield Implementation of T24 R10 version for a top tiered Japanese Bank. My roles and responsibilities within the project team involved Build analysis, Testing, Documentation, Implementation and Management.I was also in charge of setting up the Operations Procedures, Support Protocols, Fall-Back solutions and Daily Operational tasks. Training for the Operation Team was also part of my work during that period. After Go-LIVE, I began to involve myself in the Production support for the system and BAU. Issue handling, Application and functional support were some aspects I was involved in also.

As an IT Core Banking Operations Officer, we handle all the backend T24 and jBase operations for the Bank. These operations include automated Batch execution and monitoring, backend processing of all the Closure of Business for all countries. Live Feeds into the system, support for traders and etc. We also handle User Acceptance Testing for the functions and modules that are to be released into the LIVE system. During my years in Credit Suisse, I have experienced Problem Management and also have the opportunity to handle contractors and internal support group. I also had the opportunity to work with the Project Teams when CTB projects were ongoing, they would refer to us when they need advices as to the creation of functions and solutions. As our Operations job scope involves many modules, we get to liaise with a lot of software vendors and contractors to solve system Defects. We also handle weekly archiving and maintenance of the system. As we are the team that holds responsibilities for the LIVE Trading server, we are also the team that screens for users who require the access into the Production environment.

During my days in SCS, i supported the logistic system for the military. This was a classified project and it lasted for a year. My duties included supporting the Business Warehouse structure and rectifying any issues related to that module. Also, i had to maintain the daily Batch jobs and scheduled runs.For that year, i have gain sustainable knowledge on SAP, learned the structures, modules, functions, had a chance to do ABAP programming also.

Trained as a combat Tech during my National Service days and relocated to Taiwan for 1 year 3 months..
