With over 30 years of experience as a teacher, education officer, interpreter, and Energy Consultant, I have developed a diverse skill set that allows me to excel in various fields. My expertise lies in providing interpretation services in healthcare, social services, law enforcement, and immigration. I am fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Toishanese, and have Provided interpretation through face-to-face interactions, video conferencing, and telephone conferences.Equipped with a Foundation Diploma in Translation and Interpreting(FDTI), I possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver professional translation and interpretation services. My excellent communication skills, along with my ability to handle difficult situations with tact and sensitivity, have allowed me to excel in my role as an interpreter. I am also proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and possess strong planning, and organizing abilities, enabling me to prioritize workload effectively.Seeking registration with the NRPSI to validate my expertise and demonstrate my commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct, I am dedicated to continuously improving my skills and providing the highest quality interpretation services.In addition to my professional experience, I am now seeking a career change into the role of a care support worker. With a strong passion for providing care and support to those in need having cared for my grandmother who has had 2 strokes, my father who was a renal dialysis patient, and my husband who was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
