Her litigation client representation includes: (1) Oil and gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing arenas; (2) Product manufacturers and premises owners in asbestos litigation; and (3) Chemical manufacturer in Gulf War-related chemical exposure claims.Her litigation paralegal experience prior to law school includes: (1) Medical malpractice defense of surgeons, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other physicians; (2) Product liability of Japanese auto, jet ski, ATV, and motorcycle manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki, Mazda and Suzuki; and (3) MDL of San Juan Dupont Hotel Fire in federal court in Puerto Rico with 2,300 plaintiffs and 300 defendants.Daphne’s experiences both as a litigation paralegal and later as an attorney served to instill a number of skills and an approach to cases that always keep the client’s needs at the forefront. She uses these skills and philosophy to uncover all of the case facts and documents in the most efficient manner possible, realistically balance these details to reach the most pragmatic results to confidently meet the client’s needs and concerns.Growing up within two culture gives her the ability to see issues from different perspectives. This ability is especially important when working on any case, i.e., looking at all the pieces, seeing how and if they fit together, and seeing where the holes are.
