It asked me to summarize me, so here it goes! I married my high school sweetheart and have the most amazing children and grandchildren! I started my journey into Senior living roughly 15 years ago, and I love this industry. The ability to go to work everyday and talk with the people who have shaped our country, is truly a blessing. I believe in hard work, honesty, kindness, and being authentic. I am the same person with my family, my co-workers, my Residents, and their families. I believe in being upfront and transparent with our potential Residents and families. We may not always be the right fit, but I want them know that I am a resource they can count on to be honest with them and help them find the solution they need. My 15 years have been spent in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Long Term Care. Most of those year were as Director of Programming, over seeing a team of coordinators. Planning events, scheduling staff, overseeing calendar planning, training staff, and working with all departments to bring purpose to our Residents days. My children grew up and moved out so I wanted to try something new, but still wanted to spend my day with Seniors. Thankfully I had an Executive Director who gave me the opportunity to move in to the Sales Director role. I love being the first person that represents our community. I enjoy helping families navigate Senior living and helping them discover what is most important to them and their loved ones, then help them find that solution. Navigating Senior living is a daunting task, I see my job as being the calm during the storm. To listen more than I talk, and to help our Residents find purpose in everyday.
