I am currently in my master of chemical engineering (Ch.E.) following the process and chemical engineering track at the University of Twente. During my bachelors (Ch.E.) at the same university I have learned much from my extracurricular activities. For example, I have been the chairwoman of the part-time board for my student sports association and of the studies introduction week committee for my study association. I also participated in several other smaller committees for both associations. These extracurricular activities have taught me to organize and plan events and to manage and stimulate efficient teamwork. In the third year of my bachelors I did a minor in educational science. From the internship followed a part-time job next to finishing my bachelors. This experience with teaching high-school students taught me how to be a professional, how to present myself and how to explain matter to people with different levels of understanding. This also taught me to see misunderstandings and misconceptions and to resolve them. In my free time I play sports to release excess physical energy and stay healthy and i read and cook to relax. I also really enjoy traveling to different countries to encounter new cultures and learn about their history. This is why i decided to join my studies' study tour to argentina last year, which taught me about the differences in culture and (chemical) industry between the Netherlands and Argentina.
