In the role of Account Manager SSE, I was responsible for maintaining and growing business. I had my own customer portfolio which consisted out of customers in the benelux market in the segments; pharma, food ingredients, bakery and convenience. I also supported several customers on european level. I provided the customers with tailored sweetness solutions and latets market information, to develop a value based relation.

As Customer Service Representative, I was the first contact for customers. I was mainly responsible for order distribution, service requests and complaint handling of the feed customers. By having close contact with the departments of sales, supply chain and quality, I tried to get the best for the customers every time in every situation.

My main task was monitoring the figures and sales of the district compared to the national figures and sales. In weekly staff meetings I presented these figures. I was also responsible for the translation of the national marketing to the local offices in our district.Besides the marketing/sales part, I had also a supporting role. I assist the management team with administrative tasks.

I advised customers in the areas of payments, savings, insurance and loans. Furthermore I made sure they purchased the right products.

When writing my thesis, I investigated the way in which the management could be more efficient and effective.

Together with the management of the various departments and a few other students we discussed about the education level and looked at possibilities to bring education to a higher level.

During this internship I worked in the field of taxation. My main task was to support/assist the taxconsultant.
