Ms. Bowering has over thirty years of experience in interior space analysis and facility planning. After working on the development of federal government facilities management systems, Ms Bowering began a private consultancy in 1976. In practice in Calgary, Regina and Toronto, she has been responsible for a wide variety of large public and private sector projects encompassing long range planning, programming, design and construction administration She is a former President of the Interior Designers of Saskatchewan, Canadian Representative to the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications, Washington, a member of the Standing Committee on Fire Safety and Occupancy of the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes, the Chairperson of the Saskatchewan Building and Accessibility Standards Appeal Board and a past member of the Senate and Board of Governors of the University of Regina.Specialties: I am principally interested in working on programming and planning for large commercial projects. I have extensive experience as primary consultant on interior specific projects up to 1 million square feet, or as part of an architectural design team for a variety of types of buildings. I hold NCIDQ Certificate 5406 and am a member of IDAS and IDC. I am unattached and reasonably mobile for work outside of my home area.
