Daphne is passionate about the world of Primitive Naive (or Folk Art) She draws inspiration from personal experiences and travels, escaping into exotic worlds of fantasy and colour. There is an eclectic mix of cultures and backgrounds in her work and she is particularly well known for her Jungle scenes with Leopards,wild animals and Carribean Islands.Daphne has exhibited at The Royal Academy, ING Bank, Agora Gallery, Soho New York, Masterworks Museum Bermuda and John Martin Piccadilly amongst other important galleries. She has a vast array of experience in the Creative sector and been headhunted by well established companies and schools over many years. Daphne became Senior In-house Designer & Enameller for Halcyon Days in Bond St. She designed Scarves, Ties and Gift wrapping paper, and other merchandise for various companies and been involved in numerous other creative enterprises. She also taught GCSE & scholarship Art in both Private & State schools over 10 years amongst her own private work.Daphne’s paintings now hang all over the world and there is an increasing demand from private collectors.Her largest private collection hangs in Lyford Cay The Bahamas; owned by The Lehman Brother family.
