I am highly motivated and a perfectionist who sets goals and who will do everything to complete my goals. Furthermore, I like to learn and I learn fast.In 2014 I completed my bachelor degree in Biology at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam with the minor Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. For my degree, I did an internship at Naturalis Biodiversity Center. In this project I examined Victoria cichlids. I examined two locations of one species to determine if the locations had morphological variation or were two different species and I described a new species. This last part of the internship will possibly be published.I finished my Biology master at the University of Leiden in 2016. The first year was a Biology oriented year with the specialization Animal Biology and Disease models. During this year I followed an internship at the behavioural biology section at Leiden university under supervision of dr. Hans Slabbekoorn. I searched for a link in the victoria cichlid species Haplochromis piceatus between their reaction to sound and their personalities. Most likely this research will also be published.The second year consisted of the Science Based Business program. For this program I followed an internship at the "Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland". I made a proposal about controlling the Cyanobacteria population in lakes. This included a priority list of lakes in the Netherlands and making a multiple factor analysis of different control methods.Following my internship I worked one year as process leader for Rijnland. During this period I worked half of my time on innovation and the other half on a diversity of small projects. Since July 2017 I am operational consultant within the water system department. Every operational consultant has its own subjects. I work on exotic species control, waste removal management, muskrat control, maintenance of the waterways (wet profile only) and I coordinate changes in our water registration system. At the 1st of June I switched jobs to become an consultant in ecology at ATKB.
