Key accountabilities:* Sourcing and sample development for Coolcat winter 2012 and summer 2013 collection.* Instrumental in finding new laundry’s capable of producing these customers requirements.* Oversight and fiscal negotiations with suppliers for each production run.Achievements:- The implementation of a production computer system (chain reaction) in the China Office in collaboration with the Shanghai head office.- This streamlined the complete sampling and production process reducing the time required on each order and ultimately saving money for the company.

“Growing together with China’s Fashion Industry, Production and Sales”My research discussed the change in production areas in China and its surrounding countries. It also includes an in depth analysis into the possibilities for Dutch designers and brands to market their collections in the Hong Kong and China retail industry. My research has become a reference point for Dutch fashion companies to develop a presence in the China region.

Key accountabilities:* Research and development of a quality assurance manual for buying offices and manufacturers.* Research quality control systems in Chinese factories, Southern China.* Research reasons behind defected garments returned by retail customers and developed a database of preventions/solutions.
