Hartwig Medical Foundation helps to better understand how cancer develops and can be treated. We do this by gathering genetic and clinical information of patients, which we make available for research. The ultimate goal is that every patient suffering from – metastatic – cancer receives personalised treatment based on the DNA of the tumor. We also offer a personalised, extensive DNA test for cancer diagnostics. We take a look at a large range of features in the cancer genome. Including, but not limited to: SNV/Indels, Structual Variants (including CNVs), fusions, viral infection and pharmacogenomics. We annotate the findings with tumor-type specific treatments, but also treatments based on biomarkers and clinical trials. More features are under active development. More information about Hartwig's diagnostic test can be found at https://www.oncoact.nl!Check out Hartwigs repo at https://github.com/hartwigmedical, most of the code is open-source!
