Javelin Biotech launched in the summer of 2019 with a team of scientists focused on developing solutions for specific challenges of drug discovery and development. As an assistant scientist of the discovery biology team, I develop complex in vitro models (CIVMs) that recreate the relevant cytoarchitecture and physiology to facilitate disease modeling and drug development studies in alignment with company strategic goals.

I developed a framework to explain the normal development of the caudal neural tube and have shown how changes in this pathway can lead to adverse developmental outcomes, such as spina bifida and craniorachischisis. Since this was a literary research I didn't develop more lab skills. However, I improved greatly in text scanning and translating and combining various researches into a schematic pathway. Show less
