As the IAC for the area of health, I work to connect health-oriented student clubs on campus along with local community organizations to work towards the similar goal of increasing health equity to various populations. Additionally, I collaborate with my other IAC coordinators through weekly meetings to create events that bring awareness and actions towards our issue areas.

Responsible for working alongside Stanford CARE (Center for Asian Health Research and Education) to coordinate collaboration events between Stanford APAMSA's undergraduate chapter, medical student chapter, and CARE team.

Assist in The 4T Study - a study to manage diabetes in pediatric patients with new-onset Type 1 Diabetes

Ambassadors participate in a variety of program and events including donor receptions, boarding meetings, and student programs. Represent Thrive Scholars in public settings through events and media interviews.

Program for high achieving students of color from low-income communities around the country whose assistance will continue through my undergraduate years. During August of 2021, I participate in a STEM Capstone Weekend where I delegated with fellow peers to analyze complex formulas, graphical data, and research to find the optimal solution for a problem involving UV lighting in the surgical room.

During my time at Ke Ola Mamo, I held the responsibility of conducting training that included topics such as common NHPI diagnoses, cancer awareness, signs of medical emergencies, and becoming community health workers. I presented informative presentations that were created through research and collaboration with the nurses of Ke Ola Mamo at churches, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and retirement homes. Ke Ola Mamo aided in my communication with these separate sites to ensure I tailored my presentation based on the needs and interests of community members at each site.
