Reports directly to the Executive Director and oversees the Authority’s financial and administrative functions. Manage diverse functions, including public finance, investor relations, treasury, financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, revenue and grant administration, information technology, contracts administration, and general administration.

Generate Caltrans and other third-party invoices and manage the priority of the invoicing function. Interpret grant documentation to determine how they should be invoiced. Directly communicate and resolve third-party invoicing concerns (typically other government agencies). Develop standard operating procedures based on customer requirements, City Code, and other requirements. Liaison with various City Departments to complete projects. Directly review and approve staff work in our group. Generate reports for project financial tracking. Monitor and correct project funding deficiencies with project managers and division management. Collaborate with project managers to resolve budget concerns and ensure accurate expense reporting. Calculate the budgetary need for projects with input from the project manager. Audit coordination for various third-party audits (Single Audit, SACOG, Sacramento Transportation Authority). Participate in Division process improvement with the IT department and stakeholders. Ensuring that financial priorities are upheld. Work directly with project managers to determine eligibility of expenses and work through other funding related concerns. Supervise 2 staff members and prepare and deliver evaluations as required.

Lead and train staff on projects that I have been assigned to supervise.Implement and review working paper standardization on projects. Work with staff to develop standard working papers.Perform day to day testing and review on audit assignments. Communicate with clients and third parties to bring projects from planning and completion.

Interact directly with clients on a daily basis to provide audit and financial statement services.

Provides a wide range of services for our clients that range from individuals to mid-size corporations.
