Utilise resources & influence sourcing decisions to achieve optimal product cost and supply chain alignment.2. Understand all elements of product cost; validates the integrity of the costed BOM and forward costing; being able to clearly articulate the main cost drivers, cost reduction, & cost avoidance activities.3. Manage the costed BOM integrity, risk, analysis, and communication to the Ops and the BU teams.4. Perform BOM risk analysis, identifying and validating risk parts driving resolution or developing mitigations, single and sole sourced rated components prior to FCS.5. Prepare the supply chain and manage continuity of material supply and delivery ensuring no shortages, delays between proto and early production.6. Communicate the global supply chain strategy to the Business Unit and Ops teams.7. Manage supplier performance and team expectations by proactively driving suppliers to meet or exceed committed performance by building relationships and trust with suppliers.8. Manage and ensure a smooth product transition from NPI to Sustaining by utilising the transition checklists and the Product Lifecycle Cost Plan prior to pilot and gaining agreement with Manufacturing Operations and the Product Lifecycle Project Manager on the final handover.

Key responsibilities included;1. Ongoing management of the Supply Operations working directly with our CM partners. 2. Provided significant leadership to the CM and suppliers to ensure alignment to Cisco Mfg goals4. Managed and ensured smooth product transitions from NPI to sustaining and also to EOL. 5. Influenced supply chain design and innovated solutions that were required for an expanding portfolio of new products 6. First point of escalation for all Supply Operations issues7. Managed and drove metrics in the area of manufacturing such as Continuity of Supply, inventory, cost and supplier delivery performance management that leads to assurance of On Time Ship, OTD, Lead-time and Customer Satisfaction. 8. Ensured strong linkage with internal cross functional teams, and Central teams for business and mfg operations.9. Program managed developed & timely short term & long-term solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which required cross-functional/cross organizational issue resolution
