I am a graduate from the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management and I am actively seeking employment. Creative thinking is my overall passion. Whether I am designing an intricate centerpiece or piecing together an innovative way of promoting sales, my mind is constantly running with new ideas and ways to make the ordinary extraordinary. I leveraged my creativity and resourcefulness while going to UCF and started a successful business creating paddles for Sororities and Fraternities. Due to hard work and excellent performance (at Plato’s Closet); I was promoted from hourly Associate to Assistant Manager within six months - all while going to UCF full time! My boss described me as “a detail oriented Manager who consistently thinks outside of the box, always seeks to learn new skills and who continually strives to grow and develop personally and professionally.”While working as an Assistant Buyer, I was able to gain valuable experience working with vendors, negotiating pricing, meeting deadlines and prioritizes job duties. I have gained exposure to cost analyses and competitive retail strategies. Currently, I am working as an Event Coordinator selling floral design concepts and executing special events. I have been able to find success in managing event design planning activities from start to finish while fully incorporate clients’ special requests and maintaining budgets.
