Ux Lead
NuGroup Global is a new Atlanta-based startup offering digital tools, strategies, and solutions for change makers in the social justice space.I am their UX Lead, leading design strategy for NuGroup Global’s mobile, web, and other digital products. I am in charge of research, design, and testing of digital prototypes from conceptualization to hand off to engineering team.*Success Metrics*Upon request*Day-to-Day*- Conduct a mix of qualitative and quantitative research (user interviews, surveys, competitive benchmarking, usability testing, etc.) to solve complex, often abstract, user and business problems- Collaborate on discovery and design execution with team of designers, project manager, and software engineer- Analyze and strategically implement feedback from PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders and leadership- Build relationships across departments to encourage a tighter feedback loop, clear communication, quicker iterations, error mitigation, and greater shipment success- Craft solutions with the intention of making a positive measurable monetary impact- Adapting to company priorities, pivoting where needed - Contribute to the evolution of the NuGroupGlobal design system- Represent my team in design review sessions, confidently presenting designs to encourage client buy-in- Collaborate with my PM and Engineering Manager to communicate a unified team vision to stakeholders
