I have been in practice as a barrister since 2009. My practice primarily focuses on commercial, chancery, corporate and public law matters. I regularly appear on behalf of companies and individuals in complex commercial litigation in the Chancery and Commercial divisions of the High Court. I have also been instructed on behalf of the State in several challenges to the constitutionality of legislation or alleged breaches by State Agencies of the rights of individuals. I frequently advise and appear for the State and State Agencies including the Revenue Commissioners in matters relating to their international and European treaty obligations such as the participation of the State and State Agencies in multi-jurisdictional criminal, taxation and regulatory investigations, extradition requests, and requests from foreign governments relating to the identification, freezing and confiscation of assets located in this jurisdiction.I also act for the Criminal Assets Bureau in civil confiscation proceedings relating to the proceeds of crime.
