I learnt a lot about the process and documents required for the planning and management of clinical trials. I was also given the opportunity to meet with other departments to get a full overview into clinical operations as well as to understand how they assist with the running of an efficient clinical trial. My primary responsibilities included assisting in the preparation of meeting materials such as meeting agendas & minutes, tracking & preparing study specific information utilising databases & spreadsheets and co-ordinating & filing study documents to the Trial Master File. During my internship I was able to refine essential skills for the workplace including communication, teamwork and independence through the completion of various tasks. Show less
