• Responsible for provision of technical assistance to Pechiney and Rio Tinto Carbon plants throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa in addition to the development and maintenance of Aluminium Pechiney international specifications. • Provided technical assistance on behalf of Technology Sales & Marketing in India, China and North America and conducted a number of benchmarking audits to these areas outside of the Rio Tinto network.• Managed and participated in a variety of R&D projects relating to all aspects of anode production from improvements to raw materials to the development of innovative baking technology. • Managed projects from conception to industrialisation with liaison and engagement of stakeholders and resources.• Organised and delivered technical training to personnel from both Rio Tinto and greenfield sites in Europe, India and China.• Led project to introduce new baked anode cooling technology. Idea conception was developed in-house with industrialisation taken to a site in Rotterdam.
