Supporting accountants and business clients that need assistance withMYOB software – specifically with Payroll support, includingperforming pay runs, adjusting pay items, superannuation payments,reporting via STP/ATO, employee database management, andunderstanding payroll reports.

My main duty in this role is to assist Vocus and Orcon Small Business customers with billing enquires and technical issues. I do this by handling inbound phone calls and email from customers. Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with customers over the phone. Occasionally fault logging to Chorus and other Fibre providers. This role required navigation between different CRMs, usage of multiple tools, and handling of internal and external tickets. I had to be proficient in various telecommunications networks and services: ADSL, phonelines, VDSL, VoIP, SIP Trunks, UFB/Fibre, Domain hosting, and Mobile. Further duties include Domain and Web hosting support for Iserve and The Kiwi Web Hosting company. I was also temporary placed in a customer service role helping Switch electricity consumers for three months. With recent company changes, my responsibilities have also extended to supporting Distance Learning internet consumers organized by the Ministry of Education and also supporting Sky Broadband consumers. Other responsibilities included: the training and guiding of new team members, acting as a liaison between the customer and our provisioning/implementation team, and occasionally supporting residential teams at Slingshot and Orcon Residential.

Slingshot is a residential Internet Service Provider. My duty was to support inbound calling customers with billing enquires, technical issues, and basic provisioning support. For this role, I needed to understand the CRM and different aspects of telecommunications. (Internet, phone, Fibre). Core of my role was communicating with customers, explaining invoices, fixing billing issues, troubleshooting problems over the phone, and when required, log faults to Chorus and other broadband/Fibre suppliers. I would also have a casual role as Technical Support for sister company, Flip, when they’re short on staff. This required understanding of a different CRM.
