Despite the highly competitive market, Darby gained significant traction across all regions and retained valuable accounts to deliver double-digit year-over-year growth.★ ★ ★In 2012, Darby moved to a subsidiary of Mestek as the EVP and GM for American Warming and Ventilating, and in 2014 he was promoted to President of AWV. There he provided transformational and turnaround leadership to deliver a 5-point gain in profitability in one year and achieve double-digit operating profits in less than 3 years. Keenly attuned to the heartbeat of the organization, Darby increased engagement of his 150 team members, resulting in their support of a newly established mission and vision, ultimately delivering a transformed culture and enterprise-wide success.★ ★ ★On January 1, 2023, Darby transitioned to United Enertech as the company’s President, and within three months, he was promoted to serve as Chief Executive Officer. Darby led the manufacturing companies that made up the United Enertech Holdings family of brands: Air Conditioning Products, Air Performance, Metal Form Manufacturing, and United Enertech.★ ★ ★In 2024, Darby navigated the divestiture of a portfolio company and the sale of the balance of United Enertech Holdings, becoming President of the acquiring company, S&P Air Control.
